Take Aim

In life we often think we have to make the grade,
When in fact it’s enough to just take aim.
To give flight to everything we do,
To carve it out, to sharpen the point,
Unfold thy wings, pull back on thy strings,
To simply fly.

Take aim and sing, it’s enough to take aim.
That you keep this faith,
Aim to release your heart to this

With every composed piece,
Always intend to release,
It’s enough just to take aim.

For in taking aim,
Not sitting on blame.
Or in regret,
And there will be no ‘if only’s’
You can say you took this day
Aim to release your heart to this.
